Jessica Rabbit and Influences on kids and cartoons

I know shes a cartoon character, but I love how sassy, sexy and kick ass she is!

I only noticed her on the amazing film 'Who framed Roger rabbit?'
And i totally fell in love with the amazing character! Yes she may be a little too mature for the younger audience and seen as more sexual (even though she wears more than some cartoon characters!)but she shows that curvy girls are much more attractive if not more desirable (by a rabbit?) than a size zero/ May this be a start of a problem?

I find that today not only kids program's but animated films and cartoons portray the womanly or teenager figure now to be tiny with legs like sticks, flat stomach and perky breasts who are all goody goody. No wonder half of them are borderline anorexic if they already aren't and develop eating problems when the first figure they look up to is seen as that!

(Winx)

As lovely are the stories to the Disney Princesses, they yet again set a fake figure for children.
The quest for perfection from their first hero's and influences will never stop. Perfect hair, skin, figure and dress. Us women all strive for this perfection still. Is it deeply rooted into us as kids?
I don't know, but i know for my kid, Jessica Rabbit all the way!
No Fakery. A REAL woman.

Oh! and i did a little makeup look for her aswell!
I hope I go to a fancy dress soon so i can buy the sexy springily dress!

Pastel Hair

Last year when I made the mistake of going from black to bleach blonde, i decided to try and go pastel too.
The other week my gorge friend +Nicola Everill asked me to do hers pastel too.

Honored and a little bit nervous I got to it!

The products used were Pantene conditioner and Stargazer semi permanent dye in violet and lavender.

Before.........

During..................

Using over half a large bottle of conditioner and add one tablespoon of violet and lavender and mix, the mixture may seem dark at first. BUT DON'T PANIC!!! it will was lighter and remember wet hair is darker until dried.

After.............

Free Wig. WOOOO!

OMG i love Ebay!

This is the wig I paid for, its wine red. So a bit more natural compared to the fluorescent one i got instead.
But not realizing that the seller had sent the one i asked for to me, i emailed them saying that the brighter one was growing on me so ill keep it (and it saves me messing around posting it)
So the seller said i can keep it as a gift, i thought, well yeah i paid for the damn thing!!!
Then a couple of days later the other one came!
so i re-read the email (never skim-read like me!) and realised it was the one they sent i could keep both and the other was a gift off them!

So i have 2 amazing red wigs for £12!!!

AMAZEBALLS!!!!

Hello Kitty spin on a requested look

Photo: Saw this and thought of you :) x

A good friend of mine sent me this picture, so i took it as a challenge to remake this. But I'm not much for the colors, so i put a Hello Kitty twist on it with some pink!

prime and highlight the brow bone and inside of eye.

Add a light pink on the inside of the eye to about over halfway.

With a lighter pink shade past the eye crease and up to eye-bone.

With a thinner or angles brush and black shadow line the crease of your eye.

Using gel liner line back over the crease.

then line top and lower lashes and create a cat's eye flick at the end

using black shadow, blend from the cats eye flick to the middle of the eye.

using gel liner draw a bow on top of the flick

Using the fluorescent pink in the 120 palette, wet and color in the bow

Finially go over the bow and add a little more detail.

et voila! hope you like!

To Wig or not to Wig, that is the question!

Soooo remember I said i wish I could have my ah-may-zing red hair back?
But my natural hair is too knackered  what from going from black to bleach blonde then back to brown in a matter of a couple of months?

Wellll...Lucky ol'me won a red wig off ebay! for like £10!!
Unfortunately it was a total impulse buy and silly me did not read the description, in the heading it read ' human hair wine red wig', it came. It was fluorescent red and synthetic (plastic) hair. Upon reading the description bit it says 'human-like hair'. Great.
Some things are too good to be true sometimes!

So here are a few pics, let me know what you think!
Had to take the flash off because it makes the hair shine and it does make it look like synthetic hair.
:/

But what I want to know is would any of you go out in it or even a wig?
I would love to but im too scared that some sket will pull it off, which personally I find a little risky pulling someones wig off as you never know why they have it on in the first place!
plus in photos i don't want it to shine and look like a silly wig.

But benefits are that you don't have to spend a load of time and money doing your hair on a night out, it looks fabulous and that means more time to drink!!!

Any yes I know it makes me look like Holly of Geordie Shore...
